On Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday, May 23rd - Sunday May 24th), over 200 teams of U9 to U19 boys and girls from top level recreation teams to elite/premier travel teams will compete in a Richmond Kickers tournament throughout the metropolitan area of Richmond, Virginia. Proceeds from the Anthem Colonial Cup tournament will benefit Connor's Heroes.
Individual players and their teams will be raising money to honor their heroes using personal donation pages created on First Giving. A Juggle-a-Thon will be held during half-time of the Richmond Kickers game on May 23. Amazing prizes will be awarded, such as a pizza party during the Kickers game for the team who raises the most money and a Wii game system for the individual who raises the most money. Great prizes also will be awarded for the winners (by age bracket) of the Juggle-a-Thon.
