Fountain Bookstore Supports Connor’s Heroes
 


On Thursday, June 12 at 5:30 pm, comedian Robert Schimmel will be at Fountain Bookstore in Shockoe Slip to sign copies of his book, Cancer on Five Dollars a Day (Chemo Not Included): How Humor Got Me Through the Toughest Journey of My Life . Fountain bookstore is donating to Connor's Heroes 10% of the purchase price of each book sold.

Robert Schimmel, named one of Comedy Central's 100 Greatest Comics, has had Showtime and HBO specials, bestselling CDs, a Fox TV pilot, and consistently sold-out club dates. A recipient of the Celebration of Life Award from the Lymphoma Research Foundation, he lives in Los Angeles.
