Margot’s signature yellow rain boots are perfect for playing, puddle-hopping, and kicking cancer.

Margot’s treatment plan had many unexpected twists and turns. It was decided a surgical team in New York City was the next choice for her care. Mom, dad, and Margot (and Margot’s yellow boots) packed up for a long stay in an unfamiliar city. Thankfully, Connor’s Heroes support travelled with them. Jillian, Connor’s Heroes Program Director, gave them gift cards to help with gas, transportation, and make NYC feel like home – even for a little while.

Margot’s parents never imagined she’d have to face cancer, yet from the very start, they knew Margot could handle it. She tackled every procedure, appointment and treatment with a positive attitude. Inspiring them to do the same.

Jillian remembered small details, and sent encouraging texts when Margot had scans or a procedure. The fact that Connor’s Heroes did this, without requesting anything in return, meant so much to us.
