Noelle
Noelle (14 years old) was looking forward to her freshman year at Clover Hill High School. This bright, young girl would start at the prestigious Math and Science Center. In August 2015, a few weeks before school, she complained of a swelling in her abdomen. Xrays, sonograms, and a CT scan discovered Nicole had a form of ovarian cancer that shockingly occurs in teen girls. Immediate surgery removed the massive tumor. She is in her third round of chemotherapy. Amazingly, she found the strength to attend school. She even went to homecoming with her friends. Noelle loves to paint, plays the piano and enjoys kayaking.
