It takes a community of heroes to beat cancer. The fight against cancer is larger than one organization. We happily collaborate with other organizations to provide children and families the support they need.
C4: Childhood Cancer Community Consortium
Connor's Heroes® helped establish this group, whose mission is to unite the unique talents and skills of the various childhood cancer organizations to collectively provide the best, most comprehensive care and services for children with cancer and their families in the Greater Richmond area. The C4 website has a great resource book for children with cancer and their families and also a calendar of all upcoming events.

Lunch Bunch with CJ's Thumbs Up
Connor's Heroes® and CJ's Thumbs Up Foundation have collaborated to provide lunch to the pediatric patients, caregivers, and staff at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU every Thursday. CJ's Thumbs Up Foundation was founded by Charlotte Jennie's (CJ's) parents after she lost her battle with a rare type of brain tumor in January 2010. CJ was one of Connor's Heroes and we are excited to collaborate with her "Meal Fairies" to provide a healthy lunch to pediatric patients in Richmond.

Partnership with Kganya's Kause
Kganya's Kause is a service organization that supports youth by helping local charities. The group was inspired by Kganya Matlala, a vibrant 16-year old who lost her courageously fought battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in April 2012. Kganya was one of Connor's Heroes and we are thrilled to collaborate with her friends and family. Our partnership provides Kganya's Kause members opportunities to serve at other special events and fundraisers to benefit all families supported by Connor's Heroes.
